— Studio · How BLOOM works

The mechanics,in one place.

669 one-of-ones. Everything bought and sold on OpenSea. Physical pieces made only for the collectors who already own the work — whenever they ask for them.

01

The basics.

BLOOM is a single collection of 669 one-of-one artworks, released in 2026. The studio makes the work; the open market decides where it lives. Nothing here is mass-produced, and nothing is reprinted for the public.

02

Your wallet, and what we ask of it.

Connecting shows BLOOM your address and asks you to sign one free line of text, so we know the address is yours. That is the whole request. No transaction, no token approval, no permission over anything you hold — a signature cannot move an asset. Once you connect anywhere on the site, every page knows you.

03

Every piece is a one-of-one.

There are no editions, no runs, no numbered copies. Each of the 669 works exists once. When a physical version is made for the owner of a piece, it stays a one-of-one too — made for that collector, for that artwork, and for no one else.

04

Where it all happens.

Buying, selling, offers, bidding — all of it happens on OpenSea, wallet to wallet. The studio runs no auction, holds no sale, and never takes payment for the art itself. If you want to own a piece, or move one on, that is the only place it happens.

05

The stories.

Every artwork carries something of its own — a description, a question, a fragment left behind. No two read alike. Titles and stories stay held back until a piece is revealed; the silence is intentional, not unfinished.

06

Physical prints.

Only the collector who owns a piece can request a physical version of it. There is no window, no deadline, no expiry. You own it, so you can ask for it whenever you want — next week, or in five years. Each one is hand-finished and signed for the owner who asked.

07

How a request works.

Verify that you hold the piece, and the atelier opens for that artwork alone. You choose what gets made, the studio produces and signs it, and it ships to you.

  1. 01

    Verify ownership of your piece

  2. 02

The atelier opens for that artwork

  3. 03

    Choose what gets made

  4. 04

    Produced, signed, shipped

08

Payment.

The art trades in ETH on OpenSea, wallet to wallet — the studio never touches it. Physical requests are the only thing paid for here, at the atelier checkout, by card, securely, through Paystack. No card is ever kept on file, and nothing is charged unless you asked for it.

09

Shipping & fees.

Shipping is carried by the collector and folded into the total at checkout, so the number in the cart is the number you pay — no surprise line at the end. Rates depend on where in the world it is going.

10

Certificates of authenticity.

Every physical piece ships with a hand-signed certificate tying it back to the on-chain original. The certificate, the object, and the artwork stay one provenance chain for life.

11

Transfers & royalties.

A resale is simply a transfer on OpenSea. The studio is not involved and does not need to be — ownership follows the wallet. Royalties on secondary sales are optional and set at the marketplace. Leaving them on supports the studio directly, and it is noticed and quietly appreciated, but nothing about your ownership depends on it.

12

Your collector page.

Every piece you own, gathered in one quiet place. Like a small wing of a museum, named after you.

13

The Bloom cycle.

BLOOM is built to feed itself. The collection travels and gets seen; a share of every secondary trade flows quietly back to the studio; that flow becomes new paintings, physical editions and exhibitions; and new work raises the ground under everything already held. Then it goes round again. Ten percent of what comes back is returned straight into making the work — no sponsors, no outside noise.

  1. 01

Reach — every trade, show and story widens the world

  2. 02

Royalties — a share of secondary trades returns to the studio

  3. 03

The work — that flow becomes new paintings and editions

  4. 04

The floor — new work lifts everything already held

142027

The DAO.

The Assembly opens in 2027 — a group of collectors who get to see behind BLOOM, how it runs, how it sustains itself, and what it is building toward, with a real hand in deciding where it goes next. Everything intended for it is already written down and public.

15

Where this goes.

BLOOM is the first form of something meant to outgrow it. The collection is the beginning, not the whole shape. What it becomes over the years — the structures around it, the people inside it, the work it makes possible — matters far more than what it looks like on day one.

Live events.

None yet. When there is a room worth gathering in, collectors will be the first to know — and not a moment before.
